Bill Vasko
CEO, XO Coach & MAXX Athletes
My name is Bill Vasko and I am the founder of XO Coach and The Coaching Portfolio Guide. I created these resources to help coaches navigate the job search process.
My experience is unique, having coached at the college level in Division 1, 2, and 3 as both a head coach and assistant coach in three different sports! I have also served as a coach and athletic director at the high school level.
I've hired lots of coaches as an athletic director and as a head coach. I've also been a part of hundreds of search committees during my time as a college coach. I've reviewed thousands of resumes and portfolios over the years, and I realized many coaches needed guidance on how to better develop their job application materials.
In 2014, I built The Coaching Portfolio Guide, a resource to assist coaches in building a professional coaching portfolio that would help them land their dream job. Since that time, the website has helped over 3,000 coaches build a coaching portfolio. We've continued to add additional services to help coaches rebuild their cover letters & resumes, develop their job application materials, and prepare for job interviews.
While I am still a coach at the college level, I have developed a passion for helping other coaches succeed in the profession. If you are an experienced coach looking for your next opportunity or a young coach just entering the profession, we can help you. Take a look at the services and packages we provide and let us help you land your next coaching job!
